Blessing #1

Our very first piece of fabric for Sophia's blessing quilt has arrived! It came all the way from Kathy who blogs at Lizzie Jane and resides in beautiful Washington State. She also sent along a corresponding piece of fabric that has a Mary Englebriet illustration of a little girl and a bowl of cherries on it, as well as a couple of other things. It could be made into a wallhanging for Sophia's room. Here is Kathy's blessing note for Sophia:
